Collection: Reloved - Smorgasbord

Smorgasbord - what a wonderful word, that we borrowed from the Swedish language :-) - I am using it here in the sense of "a wide variety of something".

In our case, it refers to the wide variety of our loved apparel and accessories, which are still in too good of condition to be thrown away.

Some items are like new, some were loved a bit more, but all still have a lot of life in them and many adventures to go on.

We are a very outdoorsy and active family and a few things we learned (especially with kids) are:

1. There is no such thing as bad weather, only wrong apparel.

2. The quality of clothing matters if you want to enjoy the outdoors.

3. High quality clothing tends to be the more expensive choice, but in the long run (meaning: getting multiple seasons use out of them or being able to hand down good quality clothes) it is worth it, since you WILL get more use out of it because you will be more comfortable while being outside thus doing it more often.

4. High quality clothing will still be high quality even when "RELOVED".

5. The right layering in different kinds of weather and temperatures is key to stay comfortable. See our guide to right layering.
